Brainscape's desktop website and mobile app contain all of the same core features: Finding, Creating, Sharing, and Studying flashcards. Most differences in functionality are minor and are continuing to disappear as our technology evolves.
Whenever you do something on the website (e.g. edit a flashcard or study a deck), those changes should be immediately synced to your Brainscape iOS or Android app. And whenever you do something in your mobile app, those changes should be similarly synced with the website. We aim to create a "device-agnostic" learning experience.
That said, there may occasionally be times when your data temporarily appears out of sync -- e.g. if you have been using your Brainscape mobile app while "offline" and haven't yet been able to hook up with our website.
If that is ever the case, you can simply tap the drop down on the top right corner of the screen and choose Sync Class from the menu in iOS or the Sync button in the top right of the Library screen on your Android device and all should be right with the world. The team has been hard at work at improving this experience and now you will see automatic updates of classes that you have previously downloaded to your device when they are updated on the website.
Also, make sure you’ve gone out to the App Store, and make sure you have the latest version of the mobile app. You don’t want to miss the exciting updates!
