How should I explain Brainscape to my students or employees?

We've worked in other large organizations before. We know that sometimes, getting a bunch of people to change their technology habits can be as hard as "herding cats"! We want to help you onboard your new Brainscape users as simply as possible. #YourSuccessIsOurSuccess

Below are some sample emails that you can use as inspiration for your own communications. The version to use depends on the method by which you invited your users:

If users are signing up via your Class link

Hi guys,

As you may know, we will be using Brainscape as a web & mobile learning tool for XXXXX. Brainscape allows you to study "smart flashcards" that apply adaptive repetition techniques scientifically proven to help you learn faster and remember for longer.

We've already created some decks of flashcards [and will be continuing to add content over time]. To get started, simply:

1. Visit this link
2. Click the button to claim access
3. Create an account as instructed

Once you're logged in, you should see our XXXXX Class waiting for you. Feel free to start studying any deck you want! The Brainscape study experience has helpful tooltips and is quite self-explanatory.

If you'd like to study via the mobile app after creating your account (highly recommended!), just download the Brainscape iOS or Android app, and log in with the same account. Please let us know if you have any questions. [Rewards will go to the people with the best study habits! Etc.]

If Brainscape mass-imported your users for you

Hi guys,

As you may know, we will be using Brainscape as a web & mobile learning tool for XXXXX. Brainscape allows you to study "smart flashcards" that apply adaptive repetition techniques scientifically proven to help you learn faster and remember for longer.

We've already created some decks of flashcards [and will be continuing to add content over time]. And we also pre-created an account for you.

To get started, simply:

1. Visit Brainscape's website, iOS app, or Android app
2. Log in with your [company/school] email address
3. Your initial password is [XXXXX]

Once you're logged in, you should see our XXXXX Class waiting for you. Feel free to start studying any deck you want -- on either the website or mobile app! The Brainscape study experience has helpful tooltips and is quite self-explanatory.

Remember that if you initially had Brainscape import a bulk list of your users, but now you have one-off individuals who also want to join your Class, you can still share with them privately via email, and then send the first email above to let them know.
