That's a good question and for most of our users, probably one that they have not yet contemplated. We currently allow you to add 250 classes to your library.
You may be asking yourself why this limit is imposed on users? The answer is simple: we want to keep Brainscape working as efficiently as possible for the millions of those who use Brainscape for their studies. Unfortunately, synching can get a bit cumbersome if the load is too large. Just like we all have limits on the space that our computers or mobile devices have, there too is a limit on how much can be stored in Brainscape without things slowing down or getting a little wonky.
Some hacks you can try if you are looking to downsize:
If you have received a message saying that your limit is reached, you can do the following with your existing courses:
1. Simply delete classes you no longer need;
2. Combine existing classes; or
3. Create a separate account (it is free to do this) and copy some of your older classes that you aren't using, but aren't ready to part with yet.
And as always, please feel free to reach out to our awesome Tech Support agents if you want to chat further about the issues you are facing on this front.
What is Brainscape doing to address this?
Our team is hard at work at building features that will make it easier to archive and arrange classes and decks in your library. Stay tuned for updates on this front.
