The Brainscape team likes to think that when you are studying a subject, we are equipping you with the tools to develop the discipline that will continue to motivate you to keep achieving your goals.
What's new:
Our mobile team has recently released a *new metrics screen* that can be launched from your learner dashboard to help you with that motivation to keep going and see your amazing progress. (We will continue to expand on the features and functionality currently available, and also to bring this new metrics screen to our web tool in future releases.)
How to get there:
You’ll notice the metrics icon on your dashboard on mobile, and by clicking on that, you will be taken to the full “Your Metrics” screen.
What you'll find:
Progress: presents your Smart Study stats (refers to the classes that you've selected via the Study Weights screen or we like to think of these as your current study "goal"), as well as your All Time Activity (you can see all the stats for any and all classes you've ever studied in Brainscape)
Persistence: shows in the Cards Studied (broken down into several intervals), Time Spent Studying (broken down into several intervals) and Streaks details (current days and record days).
Content Creation: displays your authoring activity by the number of decks and cards created.
What if you need more information:
If you are ever unsure about the data you are viewing, or would like more info, then we’ve got you covered! Just click on the arrow to the right of the section header (>). You will be supplied with all the details about the particulars of this section of the "Your Metrics" screen and a deeper dive into the data that you are viewing and how it was calculated as well. It's like your very own help center imbedded in your dashboard. Very helpful, indeed!
What's next:
We hope to continually improve on these metrics and appreciate your feedback. You can provide any requests to our support team, and direct questions there as well. Eventually we will migrate this feature to our web platform as well, but you can learn more about ways to view stats on the web in this article.
If you'd love to vote for a new Brainscape feature, see what others are requesting, or get a sneak peek at features in our pipeline, please check out Brainscape User Feature Requests Forum! Please choose to Sign in with Brainscape (if you are commenting/requesting a new feature) so any feedback is tied to your account. Or you can even access the tool from our web/mobile menus which won't require you to login separately.
(Hint: to save time, search first to see if your desired feature is already in the list so you can just vote/comment.)
