Why do I need a profile picture?

You don't really need one.  We allow users to upload a Profile Picture on the web and mobile apps to help personalize the Brainscape experience.  It can be helpful to your friends, professors, or classmates to see your smiling face in a list of students in a Class, or as they search for your flashcards in our Creators Directory.

You can always skip the Profile Picture creation step altogether, or you can upload a cheeky image that isn't necessarily a photo of yourself.

Also, if you signed up with Facebook or Google and don't like the image that we imported for you, you can manually change it by going into the Edit Profile system on whatever device you're using Brainscape on.
