Yes, and you can do many other advanced formatting using a language called markdown in the new editor. Brainscape's new flashcard authoring system provides a convenient set of tools to help guarantee that your flashcards will look beautiful on any screen or device.
If you wish to create a nested bulleted list, you can follow the simple steps below, but read our detailed article to learn how to do even more.
- To create this formatting:
- Add four spaces (hit the spacebar 4 times) on the line you'd like nested, and
- Use the markdown bullet syntax in front of the word (- or *)
- Then 'save' the flashcard and the nested formatting will be saved and should appear correct on both the mobile and web
Keep in mind, that creating the most clean and simplified version of your flashcards is always recommended, and if you nest too many levels it will not be a great study experience and may not properly show up on smaller screens (since you are going against the suggested styles).
