Many schools and companies have requested that we allow "single sign-on" (SSO), so that their students can be "automatically" logged-in when they click the Brainscape link to study their flashcards.
We don't currently offer this. While it wouldn't be too hard to implement on the web, it would present issues when it comes to mobile access, since users must first pass through the app store in order to download the app.
That said, once a user has created a Brainscape account, they are permanently logged in on that computer or mobile device. So if you have a link to your Brainscape Class (or mobile app) from your existing Learning Management System or class page, the registered user would be able to seamlessly jump between both places, in the same way they might jump between the Facebook app and the Facebook Messenger sister app.
Please let us know if this is still an issue for you, and we might be able to come up with a creative implementation solution with you.
[Note: If your class uses Google sign-in for Google Classrooms, then your students can just log into Brainscape with their Google Account, and it's just as good as having single sign-on!]
Still have questions and can't find the answer? Be sure to email our Tech Support Team (support@brainscape.com).
If you'd love to vote for a new Brainscape feature, see what others are requesting, or get a sneak peek at features in our pipeline, please check out Brainscape User Feature Requests Forum! Please choose to Sign in with Brainscape (if you are commenting/requesting a new feature) so any feedback is tied to your account. Or you can even access the tool from our web/mobile menus which won't require you to login separately.
(Hint: to save time, search first to see if your desired feature is already in the list so you can just vote/comment.)
