Brainscape cannot validate the accuracy of non-Certified flashcards created that you might discover on our marketplace. However, you can often learn more about the flashcards' creator by clicking on the creator's Profile, which is visible on both the public market and on the Learners tab of the Class (once it's been added to your My Classes screen). Flashcards created by well-known teachers or professors tend to be the most trustworthy.
Brainscape also offers tools to help the "crowd" improve the accuracy and clarity of user-generated flashcards. As you are studying, simply click the Edit button in the top corner of each flashcard, and you can submit a suggestion to the Class's creator. You can also make a Copy of the entire Class worth of flashcards, so you can make your own direct improvements to the collection and improve it for the next set of users.
Over time, the more users Brainscape has, and the better our collaboration tools get, the higher the quality of our public flashcards, and the better we'll be able to highlight their likely accuracy.
