Yes, you may reverse Question and Answer (Study in Reverse) on your flashcards, so you can study in the opposite direction. Depending on whether you are studying on the web or the mobile apps, there are two different ways you can do this.
On the Web:
If you'd like to create permanent reverse flashcards (i.e. add new, separate flashcards that ask the question in the opposite direction), then you can do the following on the web:
Open the Deck to Edit it on the website
Click on the Edit Cards (pencil icon next to a deck title)
Be sure you're in the Edit tab (and not preview or browse)
In the left column, select the cards for which you'd like to create Reverse versions
In the Bulk Actions drop-down menu, select "Create Reverse Cards"
- You may create a special prompt for these reversed cards
Those new cards will be added to the end of your Deck
Sync and you will have reverse cards in the app
In the Mobile Apps:
In the iOS app, the Study in Reverse feature had to be temporarily disabled, and we are thrilled it has returned! If you are an Android user then you are probably excited to see this feature for the very the first time. Yeah!
- Tap on the class you wish to study
- Click Study button or begin studying a class
- The options icon should be visible in the corner of your screen
- From the drop down tap on the “Study in Reverse” button
