Your flashcards in the Brainscape mobile app(s) should sync automatically each time you log in fresh after not using for several hours. Your study progress should also sync every few minutes. Also, our team has been hard at work at improving this experience and now you will see automatic updates of classes that you have previously downloaded to your device when they are updated on the website.
But sometimes sync troubles happen, although this should be rare. You might want to try tapping the Sync icon in the top corner of the main My Classes screen in your Brainscape app.
If that still doesn't work, then please try one or more of the following:
- Touch the settings menu, and choose Sync Account
- Perform a "hard" close of the app (Double tap the home button and swipe up to fully close)
- Log out and log back into your account
- Uninstall and reinstall the app
- Turn your device off and back on
Keep in mind that you can also download a full class, or just the specific decks you'd like to study on your mobile app.
Download a class:
From your dashboard view, click the download icon on the class icon to download all decks.
Download a deck:
From your dashboard, click on the class you'd like to study and then click the download button to the left of the deck you want to study.
Also, make sure you’ve gone out to the App Store and have updated your version of the mobile app. You don’t want to miss the exciting updates!
