How can I create new flashcards?

Once you have created a Class and created a Deck, you are ready to create flashcards on both web and mobile.  You can do this manually or using AI-powered tools.  

CREATING CARDS from the WEB CLASS DASHBOARD

From the Class dashboard screen, simply click the 'Add Cards' button displayed in the new empty Deck row, and it should bring you to the flashcards' editor screen. Or, you can access the "Editor" option by clicking the pencil icon to the right of the deck name for decks with cards as well.

Additionally, you can click the Import/Make Flashcards link on the top of the dashboard, and you will be presented with various options to either make your flashcards manually (create them yourself, one-by-one) or via our AI tools.

CREATING FLASHCARDS FROM MOBILE DASHBOARD

Our new mobile editor provides a speedy solution to the creation of flashcards from either study experience or from the class dashboard or deck screen when editing your cards.  Our updated editor provides some new key features and functionality, mainly quicker editing, access to AI features, and the ability to quickly navigate the deck via a card list.  You will also have access to adding images or audio to your card as in the past. 

As in the desktop web, you'll need to create a class and a deck before you can add flashcards.  You can add flashcards by:

1. You can click the 'Add Cards' button next to a newly created deck on the dashboard;

2. You can click on an existing deck, and select 'Add Cards' from the slider;

3. You can click on an existing deck, and select 'View Deck' from the slider, and you'll be on the Card List view, where you can select a card to edit and be taken directly to the editor.

You will have the option to either create cards Manually, or AI-Powered flashcards.  Additionally, once you are in the card Editor, you will have the ability to add more cards manually, or by invoking the AI card creation options as well.

TOGGLING BETWEEN MANUAL or AI-POWERED FLASHCARD CREATION on the WEB or MOBILE EDITOR

If you are on the web or mobile editor, you can manually create cards, or invoke the AI tools right from the editor to continue to add flashcards to the deck.  You can switch between manual creation and AI-powered creation tools for the same deck. 

On the web editor, you can click on the icon tray on the top right or bottom left of the card list (image on left).  On the mobile editor, you can click the 'magic wand' icon on the top right, and be able to select which of the AI tools you'd like to use to create more cards for your deck.  It doesn't matter how you previously created the cards in the deck.
