How do I make flashcards?

Once you have created a Class and created a Deck, you are ready to create flashcards.

From the Class dashboard screen, simply click the 'Add Cards' button displayed in the new empty Deck row, and it should bring you to the flashcards' editor screen. Or, you can access the "Editor" option by clicking the pencil icon as well.

The default editor allows you to edit advanced cards, however you can easily toggle to the edit simple cards view.  This screen allows you to easily create short, straightforward flashcards (e.g. for vocabulary) and quickly fly through the creation process.  To toggle between the two editors, simply select the option you'd like from the Edit Cards view.  Read here for more on formatting flashcards on the web.

If you are on the website or mobile app and you would like to add or upload images to flashcards, then you will have to upgrade to Brainscape Pro.  Stay tuned for more updates coming to our mobile apps.
